Trasformazione...in poesia

Davide Susca works a miracle. He recycles plastic and also intends to eliminate it, in other words, to take something that disturbs it from nature and thus proceed to a recovery of the natural world. He instead and through plastic obtains poetry... which is very surprising, curious, interesting, rare…. plastic on jute, plastic art on canvas… in short… plastic transforms itself but Plastic on canvas, mixed media with it doesn't change..how shall I say? In any case it must not be dissolved. It must become a form that moves in the air, that lives with the air. In all his work, this use of plastic creates extraordinary pictorial effects and makes us feel that his challenge is to transform plastic into something else, with a recycling operation, which does not mean dissolution or elimination of plastic by nature and the ecological conservation of the environment. Therefore his process is a singularly poetic one. Because these images that remind us of informal painting would not be the same without recycled plastic. It is a recycling that effectively changes the nature of plastic and makes it pure color and pure form. In this sense, it is a form of liberation… thus search…. Susca, is an evidently sensitive and intelligent man. His process is an unusual and original process.
